My research is centered in communication and environmental decision-making. I am interested in natural resources and environmental conservation involving communication, cooperative learning and democratic processes among scientists, managers, policy-makers, industry and concerned/impacted publics. My current focus is on energy democracy and natural resources conflict management, with additional interests in climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, natural resources management, public participation in environmental decision-making and social movements.
